pats bow done good
« on: July 02, 2007, 01:03:26 am »
this weekend was the R100 IN RANDA  n.c. . nugget and his family and i shot the two 50 target ranges. all i can say is it was a blast and if you ever get a chance to shoot a R100 then do it its fun. i got 2nd and 3rd with pats bow. and nugget got 3rd and 4th with his own selfbows. and to boot they only had one class (traditional) so we shot against recurves and longbows with carbon and aluminum aroows. i think we were the only primitive shooters there. nuggets girl (tater) shot that new osage bow he made her and got 3rd and brandon shot a nugget selfbow and got 4th. they had to shoot against other kids with compounds so my hats off to them for shooting so well. this shoot will be held again for the next two years in randa for sure so if you can try and make it. boo

pappy it was two shoots in one. there was two 50 target ranges . you only had to shoot one or the other, we shot one one sat and one sun.

dick ,randa is east of north wilkesboro and west of elkin on 268,

the whole bow is magic. when a bow captures your heart like this one has mine, shooting is easy.

Yeah it was magic. It smoked me and all those others as well. We had a blast. I was so proud of my kids. They were troopers marchin through all them targets. I was more wooped then they were. Great time.
