Texas points.

I had a little time today so put it to good use. The white point is a type of Pedernales, the middle point is west tx chert, the right is some Edwards . The gery w/ the inclusion came from Richland Springs TX. The Perd is raw, but the others have been heated.. The Richland rock is hard raw & brittle hreated.

No Mullet, I use a pressuer flaker W/ a steel nail to notch the points.

Them are looking good Tower! I do like your notching! As hot as it is down there you'd think the rocks would cook out in the sun..

Purt near Cowboy. I picked one up from the rino lining on my truck yesterday & almost burned myself. Had to kick it under the truck to cool off.

Commadore, I'm using a 10 penny nail beat flat & filed to look like a horseshoe nail.  Horseshoe nails are good but too soft for me. So I made my own.
