allmost done with hillbilly61 shafts
« on: August 02, 2011, 12:20:30 pm »
i want to thank hillbilly61 for answering my for trade post and trading with me for these rivercane shafts. i still need to work on the nocks but i did shoot them through my new bow from half-eye. i hand laid all the fletch meaning i put a small dab of glue in the fletch near the nock end then i wrapped the fletch into place with sinew no other glue was used, no fletching jig was used either. i did use a little chopper to cut out the fletch. goose and turkey feather with duplex nail heads. they shoot nice.
