finished my new project three lams of hickory around a walnut riser and recurves. had long radical recurves to start with but it torqed them limbs too bad at full draw . heres finished with shorter recures and low 40s at 28. not happy with this from finish to full draw but it was an expirement so what the hell  >:(

Hey Ken......it does look very nice, and I can honestly say you got ALL that Hickory workin. If ya figured out what causin the torque then it's all good. I applaude your experimentation, sir !!!!!

Found out that bow I was buildin for you would not pull to 30" today....wouldn't ya think a 52" bow would make 30" ....the next one is allready underway.

Well that's a sweet first prototype. Are you gonna tweak the design and try again? Id say it wood be worth another shot or two. That's not an easy build for sure,and thats better than what I could've done with it.

What's the length?

And that is one AWESOME bend sir  :o

unbraced pic is just cool. love the tips wedged between the lams. I think you are pretty darn close to perfecting it Ken.

Were the limbs torquing to the left and right?  I like it, and man is it bending.  It has got a few folks thinking I believe.

Yikes, that is a lot of bending for an all wood bow! It looks really nice - I hope it holds together.
