well i had a trade going with Jonathon Creason for a Browning Explorer recurve which i would show here but dont want to give any heart attacks to the purist. so when the mailman showed today with an enormous package my only thought was dang he packs well. my mailman is cool with the bows and as usual steps out and says open em up i wanna see what you got . well the package was half apart when i realized there were two bows in this package and then it clicked ,HEY i got a trade bow too , which is cool cause i remembered the one he posted .

Jonathon did a great job on a 66 inch red oak longbow , 50 #s at 28 inches hemp wrap handle with breads and antler . this is an outstanding shooting bow and it matches well with the half dozen black ash arrows i did recently. i will try my best to get a lil blood on it in a couple months. after seeing this one and the browning i hope the two i sent him dont ugly up the bow rack too much !!

Ken, I got to see that bow a few weeks ago in person at the NC shoot at Hickory. Jonathan did a jam up job with it. Looks like it fits you pretty well also.  8)

Very cool story Ken, you are a lucky man I liked that bow when he showed it in his thread. Just looks odd seeing you hold someting longer than 60" ;D

very nice bow Ken (Too good for him Johnaton) but I'm real suprised ya can shoot it whitout that lil milk stool  ::) You are very lucky fella for sure

Glad they got there ok, Ken.  I had to cut the box a little shorter than I wanted to or it was going to cost me $60 to ship.  Glad you like 'em.  I tried to make you a couple of midget bows, but in the end I had to go with the long stuff to pull one off.  If it draws some blood I definitely want to see some pics.  :)

jon i shoot long ones too. and i think its a great bow , will show blood if drawn
