face in tree
« on: June 07, 2011, 10:51:06 am »
got a very large oak in the woods behind the house that lost a limb a few years back, went to take a look at it the other day and another tree that was blocking view of it had been blown down in one of the many storms weve had lately . well i looked up and this very ominuss face was looking back at me. thought it was interesting so i took a couple pics.

i dont know if your into this or not..it would be cool to get a candle or flash light  put it into the face at evening time or dark and see what you get...that would be a scary site..

That is really cool. first thing I thought about was Old man willow from The Lord of the Rings....just don't fall asleep under it. ;)

Get a couple of those green glow sticks for Halloween.  Then call the tree trimming service and a priest to get rid of that thing!!!

Awesome........reminds me of walking up on a large beech tree one day, was a life sized, 5ft6in or so woman carved into the tree. Naked as the day she was born, er uh carved. Ohhh she had nice full bosums, and a knot hole where her feminine area was located. Wished I still had a photo of that.

That's a curious looking tree formation.  I am going to pull it up on the smartboard when I cover plants/trees in class.  I know the kids will get a kick from it
