Rover- This might help if you have never processed your own feathers. All the ones I grind ar RW because I don't like left wing feathers, so I trade those off for more right wing feathers and I use only the primaries. I've found that the secondaries and even primaries off of a young bird sizzle or even scream when shot because they aren't stiff enough.
Anyway, I made this video just for guys who want to start processing your own.

thanks Semo, I like the clamp was that you in the vid I guess there is no dvd or book on just arrow makeing, so some of you arrowsmiths out there heres a way to make some money and I would be glad to buy the book and dvd , you know every thing from collecting wood and cane, straightening, nocks, fleching, spineing all that jazz.I've seen some of your work like PatB great wood and cane ,Cora great cane arrows maybe some of ya'll could do a joint work on this am I crazy or does anyone else out there thinking the same thing.Anyway thanks to all.

Honestly, I don't know if I have the personality for a DVD or not and I just kinda like helping others if I can and don't expect anything in return.
