Latest Points
« on: May 15, 2011, 09:52:07 pm »
This is some points that I chipped out in the last couple weeks. The first picture is this : 1st point is an Agate from Eagle Point. 2nd point is Jasper from Eagle Point. 3rd is an unknown rock from Lost Creek Lake. (Which these first three are from Southern Oregon) 4th one is a gunther made of Obsidian from Glass Butte. It is the first Gunther Point I have made and I thought it turned pretty good. 5th is Jasper from Central Oregon. 6th is Obsidian from Glass Butte, and last is a rock that was used for decoration on the side of the building. But the building was falling apart so I picked up a peice and knapped it. But I dont know what the heck it is. I tried taking two peices and cooking them at 400 degrees but the rock just crumbled so I just chipped it without any heat. Thanks for looking, John

Same points, just different view.
