finished your bow
« on: May 09, 2011, 02:05:36 am »
I got my trade bow done and am shipping it out to the new owner tomorrow. it is a yew selfbow, 67", 58# @28". it has quilted sappelle tip overlays, leather grip and fastflight string. I have shot this bow a couple hundred times and feel confident it is ready to be delivered. it is in the american longbow style and is a good shooting bow. so the winner is.....oh, crud, I forgot who I was sending it to... :D hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed building it.

Wow, that is a fine bow Dave. You do such good work. The person who receives that will be one lucky person!   I hope to hunt with one like that someday. Still learning though.

nice work there.  I'm making my first yew bow at the moment and trying to take it slow.  Somebody as others have said is going to be really happy.
