Thanks Gents, I really appreciate the comments...been a very good learning project for me.  Still can't believe from a tree to this...

Hey Matt, I'll see if I have room in the truck for the ERC boards.  I am actually obligated for a camping weekend at Yankee Springs but I've begged a "Hall Pass" for some time at Marshall so if I can fit all my kid's crud and all my bow stuff I'll happily bring them along.  I'll bring this bow along too and get some more eyes on her.  Many thanks~

After reading a bunch of suggestions and help on tillering issues I couldn't help but go down to the dungeon and work on her tonight...here she is #56 @ 26"

Time for some slight finish sanding.  There aren't really many tool marks since it's been fine toothed rasp (love the Shinto Rasp) scraper and 220 grit.  Need to mull over some thoughts on finishing off the tips/nocks and handle/wrap considerations.  Likely going to leave her colors alone and skip any dye job as I'd really hate to muff it up at this stage...

Thanks George, she has an issue or two but I am going to leave well enough alone before I get into trouble I can't get back out of...

You done real good Lee.  Every detail about it is nice - the tips, the handle wrap, and the feather hanging from the nipple is a nice touch!  Whoever receives that is gonna be a happy camper!

Man, I wish I could make a handle that nice.

Admit, it, you were worried about that big ole knot.

Glad it came out.
