I've been working on my trade a bow a lot lately. My computer has been down for a week though so no pics yet, I hope to get some tomorrow. The bow is a hickory selfbow with a paper backing. 60" tip to tip.1 1/4 wide tapering to 1/2" tips Pulls 55# @26 right now( I haven't sanded it down yet so I'll loose a couple pounds there) I've put about 50 arrows through it so far. I plan to put as many as I can though it before it gets shipped. It takes about 1/2" set right after unstringing and then it goes right back to stone straight. It has some hand-shock but not bad. I hope adding a thick grip wrap will help out some. I have a cool idea for the stain job( the plastic bag staining trick) I'm gonna shoot the heck out of it tomorrow and get it sanded. I'll post some pics tomorrow.
