tallahatta question.

wood billets, antler, hammerstone? whats the favored method? just recieved a big ol hunk of it from mr utley.  ;D

I used coper on it and it worked well.
Jamie did you see that 6 inch tallahatta cumberland i made the other week?

Jamie, I've been using copper also, works good.

Jesse, I have a new box of Primo Tallahatta. I'll be at Pappy's the1st of April.

Eddie i hope you do as well in the woods this year as last year!
 I might come hang out if I'm not at a knap-in or getting rock some were.
 I have been considering going back to AR the 1st weekend in April to get more novaculite.

I have used wood, copper, antler percussers, and bone and copper pressure flakers.  Use what you like best.  Tallahatta has a habit of really wearing out tools really quickly.  Bill

That is really easy to do with Tallahatta, there are all sorts of inclusions all through it.  I find some points made from Tallahatta that are thin but most are 4-1, 5-1 or so with lots of hinges or steps.  Are you going to come to the Tenn. Classic?  Bill
