Beautiful.  I think it is an elegant bow.  Someday soon I hope to get a chance to play with yew.

Tremendous job Del. Its already been said but the tiller is perfect. I have a piece of yew I traded for thats waiting to be worked. I'm treating it like a fragile jewel. I'm afraid to mess it up so I figure I need to wait another 10 bows or so before I try it so that I am sure I can craft it the way it deserves.

Great job.  Is that pacific yew or European yew?

Wow classic lines there and wonderful to look at no doubt. Great job and don't you feel better about not messing up your other one :)

It's English Yew cut last February in some ancient woodland/heathland in Southern England.
A Yew about  10" diameter had fallen over many years ago and a whole row of shoots had grown up from it like a line of potential bow staves, it was the biggest, about 6" diameter. I just took the one, as I didn't want to compromise the tree.

Another nice one Del. I pull them to thirty inches, but when I do my middle finger is touching the corner of my lip.
