Beautiful bow, but my arms start to ache just looking at it. I envy guys that can pull those things back.

Very nice bow Pat. I like that long draw you have.  ;D

It turned out very good. I wished it had been done at the classic I would have like to have drawn it for you. The finish looks great on it.

Good looking bow Pat. Would like to see it displayed on our rack this weekend.   ;D  After you give it to James ask him if we can do that. I am so looking forward to seeing you guys again. Been honing my skills up.  :-[

Thanks, This is a beautiful piece of yew. I just hope I did it justice.
Pappy, My thoughts exactly.
Marlon, I appreciate your comment as one who knows heavy bows.
J, yew is a fantastic bow wood and is perfect for longbows. Maybe some day I will make one I can shoot.
Sean and Dick, thanks.  Dick, I'm sure James won't mind.  How are you doing?  Looking forward to seeing you again also. Gonna be a fun weekend.     Pat

Greg, It worked fine, although it was a bit hard pullin'. I'm just glad the tree didn't come unbolted from the cement block wall! :o
By the way, I(the maker of increasable strings) had Colene make the fast flight string for this bow. ;D
Dave, Thanks. The ELB is a style that didn't interest me much til I started building a few.    Pat
