Never seen an osage with rings that thick.  Around here mulberry has the thick rings.

Yea, only seen mulberry like that. I've got some osage bows made up of only like 4 or 5 rings but thats about as thick as they seem to grow around here.

I've run across them but they seem to have a lot of small monthly rings in the thicker annual rings .

I used to love thick ringed Osage.  Easier to get a pristine back.  I now come down firmly in the opposite camp.  Thin ringed Osage from smaller diameter trees is in my opinion tops.  It's all good mind you, and I will gladly use any sent my way, but thin rings with little early wood and a bit of a crown, hard to beat.
