My "one bow" bow (not for BOM)

This is a bow I had idealized in my head for the "if only one bow" thread over on paleoplanet. It's hickory, 58"ntn and approximately 50#@28" (haven't measured it). Limbs are slightly less than 1.5" wide to mid limb, slight eiffel tower taper to 1/4" side nocks, and a slightly waisted handle 8". About 1.5" of set. In my post I said that ideally I'd heat treat this bow but I'm really happy with it. I love the simplicity with the side nocks which are my first and the draw is extremely comfortable. The bow weighs about 15 ounces where ideally I think its supposed to weigh around 11. I think moisture is probably still high. Anyways thanks for looking.

That is as good as it gets!!!
The full draw curve is beautiful and the simplicity of the side nocks and the "plain jane" look makes it a perfect, reliable hunting bow. Well Done!

Now that is nice. Your full draw is excellent. That is the kind of bow I like. Thanks for sharing. Dean

Wow!
Another great looking bow Ryan... That is some nice clean hickory you are working with.
I'd suggest some brighter colored arrows for shootn' in the snow tho...

Don't listen to him when he says you need to put some color on the arrow.....it'll pick up plenty of color when it goes thru the deer. Hehehe.
Very sweet bow, and the Ishi style draw did my heart good!
