Eastern, I meant less the "finish" and more the overall aesthetics that I consider finish work, tip overlays, Dye job on your bamboo, which was incredible by the way, shaping the handle, that sort of stuff.  I'm still not at the skill level in those areas that you obviously are.   I'm just now starting to get better at that stuff.  I'm also starting to enjoy putting effort into those areas.  It used to be "hey, it shoots, what else do you want?"  ;D LOL

NTS, OK i gotcha now...Well, some say I'm perfectionist...I say why not do the best job possible in all respects if your going to put the work into building a shooting bow. Just my philosiphy.

Very nice Nate!
Tiller looks spot-on. Really like the use of different woods. Question...You mentioned jacaranda as one of the names for the Coyote wood. Does that have a purpleish bloom in the spring? If it is the same I have a tree in my back yard that has a natural r/d in one of the big limbs. Been lookin at it for a couple of years. Funny how trees go from beauty and shade to bow wood after the bug bites ;D.

Thanks Ron,

I'm not sure about the tree in your yard.  I got the wood from a local hardwood specialty store and copy and pasted the info from their website.  But you'll never know until you try ;D

Nate, you really out did yourself with this one my friend.  Just an all around beautiful bow.  Got it bookmarked for November Backed BOM contest too.  :)

Thanks Hammertime and Josh.  It was fun making this bow and it's definitely my best performer so far.

Nate, that tiller is SWEET! You have been hinting at this one, and I've been waiting. It was worth it. Man, you're getting good at this.

Thanks Ryan and Eddie.

Eddie, I'd like to think I'm making progress ;D  What I lack in natural ability I try to make up for in shear boneheadedness 8)

Thanks Randy and Pappy.  No pink on this one though ;D  I have a tri-lam BBO that I'm going to be starting soon thinking of trying yellow under the gopher snake skins...I'm good with the pink for awhile :-\
