And if they are not native species to the United States, there is no issue with buying/selling/using them!  Unless they are listed anywhere as endangered or threatened on the CITES list (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Animals).

Kind of why I was asking what kind of pheasant. If they are Reeves and Silver, they are legal to use. There are however several kinds of pheasant that are illegal to have in the US without a federal permit. I prefer to stick with feathers that I know for sure are legal. I also prefer the ones that the Fish and Game department will know is legal so they don't bother me.

Yes, that is the bird that the last couple of photos belong to, but I was referring to the first two pictures. The first ones have a browner tone and resemble Reeves pheasant wing feathers. The second looks like they are probably Silver pheasant. I am quite sure they aren't the few species that are protected in the USA, but without knowing what variety of pheasant I wouldn't suggest you try shipping them to the USA.

Josh, the Reeves is my favorite, it's tail gets to over 5 feet long. I have raised Lady Amherst, Red Golden, Yellow Golden, Silver, common and jumbo Ringneck, Impian, Blue Eared, and Peacock pheasant. Here is a picture of a Peacock Pheasant.
