Cougar taken
« on: April 30, 2007, 01:55:12 am »
This cat was taken by a friend of a friend. the story is that he was hired to remove that cat because it had taken the farmers dog, goat and some sheep.  Don't know much more then that.     Keenan

That is a huge freaking cat. Must be at least 8 foot and pushing 180#.

Damn, that's a big kitty cat. He should have at least let it finish it's beer before he shot it, though :)

If you've never eaten cougar, you're missing out.  I had some several years ago at the Glass Buttes knap-in and it was some of the sweetest, most delicious meat I've ever had.  IT makes me look at the neighbor's cat in a whole different way.  "Hey honey....get me my bow.  The neighbor's cat is in our yard...!"

That's a lot of sweet-n-sour kitty, (my favourite recipe for cougar) with lots of pineapple and peppers.

Unfortunately, in states that have banned hunting cougar, these problem cats are becoming more common.  Then a lot of cats are killed by state wildlife officials instead of sportsmen.  Justin

Odd that my first-ever post in this forum after just looking around would be about eating a cat....  Anyway, back when I was in the USMC (1990-1994) I had the opportunity to eat some regular old house cat, and to tell you the truth, it was pretty good.  I doubt I will eat it again, but by god if I had to, I would!

Edit:  Actually, I just realized that this is my second-ever post.
