You taking orders?
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intentions of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body. But rather to slide in sideways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming....WOW WHAT A RIDE!!

Ken thats very cool of you

ive been wanting to make a kids bow for my little sweetie next door
she always comes over and watches me knapp and work on all my primitive projects
she even likes to shoot my little recurve i made couple of years back(i call it sliver, cause thats what it is. a sliver of osage)
ive been wanting to make her her own bow, this gives me insperation
it seems with all thats going on right now in her young life(folks getting divorced, and shes moving soon)that a gift like this could help put
a smile back on her sweet little face.
thanks for the demensions up front, one question though
was this a board or stave?

47 in a year huh,it took me three years to do that, but i only made 2 this year ;)
working on #3 for the year now
i always wanted a harley, untill it became the "thing to ride"
i ride because i love to,not to be part of the crowd

thanks Ozzy
be glad to Nugget, just have to work round my crazy 12 hour swing shift schedule
Tim that might be a good outlet for her to get her mind off things, this like most of mine are boards, i get trees sawn up my friend has two portable mills. just works out better for me with drying and turning out more

i thought it might be
i have a real nice quarter sawn hick board hiding in the garage
i think its gonna come out of hiding now
shes been my little buddy since the day she was born
i feel so sad for her right now, been trying to think of a way to put that sweet smile back on her face
i think this is the ticket

never had a daughter, but always kinda thougt of her as my "daughter next door"
if i dont go hunting this weekend,im gonna start on her bow
i always wanted a harley, untill it became the "thing to ride"
i ride because i love to,not to be part of the crowd
