« on: October 25, 2010, 05:10:30 pm »
First snow of the fall this morning. Just a skiff on the ground now, but the foot hills above 4000 ft. are supposed to get 9-15 inches by this time tomarrow. Our house is 3850 ft. so we could see some more here by tonight!  Welcome to winter  :o ::)

I'm ready for our first snow fall too. I missed out last year and early this year's snows. We had snow almost all winmter which is rare here. We are on the wrong side of the mountains. Like you(not quite but sorta!  ;D ) I was down in the back and couldn't enjoy it.

It is about 80 degrees here.
Not sure but I think that that is to warm for snow. ::)

I been busting firewood with a maul and wedges for the last three weeks. If we get the snow we did last winter I'll need to work another two weeks to get enough wood. I only work on the woodpile a couple of hours each morning cause I got bows to build!

I could see it covering up at the Parkway and snow showers falling over Brevard but none hit the ground.  :(  I'm ready for another winter like last year!  ;D  8)
