Insanity, and stupidity together in one sentence, Hmm! I did that once on a gap jump of over one hundred feet. It occurred to me at about the apex of my wingless flight, that I was not going to stick that landing. I had just enough time to realize that this is stupid, and I must be out of my mind, before crashing. Moral of the story... Don't take risky jumps, so far away from emergency services....
