A couple hours into a red oak board bow...lots of fun so far. (Even though I had the wrong depth in my head, and wasted a few hours polishing it down to 15/16 instead of 15/32...) Also got my little brother into it. He is working on a short canvas backed ash bow...no idea if it will work (52 in, 25lb draw, 26in draw?), but he is having fun, and it is great to be able to work on something like this together.
