I thought I would send some more pictures of baskets and different materials they are made of.They are made of honeysuckle vine, split cane, pine needle and virginia creeper root. The biggest basket is a cherrokee split cane. This basket was bought at a yard sale for 1 dollar. It is an original basket dating to 1900.The other baskets my wife made. The basket with the nice dyed design is a double woven cherrokee design. The honeysucle vine basket with the lid on it is double woven too.The second biggest basket is virginia creeper root. The Other basket with the lid on it is pine needle and the others are honey suckle.
