Nate, I really think you have done an excellent job on this bow. Hickory backed Osage is definitely on my to-do list, you pulled it off wonderfully. Everything about this bow screams professional. Got it bookmarked for Aug. Backed Bow of the Month too. Really nice job Nate!

Awesome bow. I don't know if the tennis racquet wrap is an NTD original idea, but I think it is BRILLIANT nonetheless. Going to go out and get some tomorrow...or maybe recycle the wife's racquet...she hasn't played for years anyhow.

AlmostPigHunter, I have used a prefabbed tennis handle wrap on a previous bow and really didn't like it. This is actually a homemade job. I sanded the bevels myself following Timo's buildalong. Here's the link....this is a much better way than the prefab and it supplies the satisfaction of DIY.

Josh, the hickory is nice to work with and I'm having trust issues with bamboo right now
I'm sure when you do an HBO you'll give mine a run for it's money.

nice!! HBO is one of my favorites. for some reason the places i normally get hickory and osage lumber have both dryed up. Bummer!!!! great bow though.
