with exception of the handle it looks like a narrow andaman island bow. i have made a couple similar lately and love the design. have you considered doing a bend through the handle version of the same limb design?

Otis- I prefer deep handled bows for the most part, unless I'm going for a specific design. I'm currently working on a shorter ambush style that will bend more through the grip though, and it might be more like the Andaman island bow you're talking about.

Sam- it's 64" ntn, 65" total. 2" wide for 10", tapering to 5/16" tips with a concave taper. It started out 1/2" thick , with most of the thinning taking place on the inner limbs.

i would love to see a close up pic of the back of the limb, to see the colours and sinew.
also a shot of the under side of the limbs to see the profile.
and a close up of the limb tips would be interesting too... if you don't mind us seeing them that is.

i usually make my limbs convex on both side like an andaman bow (less curve on the back), and have never thought of making a concave/hollow belly limb profile. might have to have a look into that.

Otis- here's the color, the taper, and the tip. The belly taper is pyramid, more or less, and won't show up in a picture as anything special. Hope these help.

Eddie- I'm getting more and more comfortable at 65-70# with a 600 gr arrow. As my bows get better, the speed is starting to get faster than any of the bows I had done over that too. Best of both worlds
