  Aloha All ,
Been sitting the sidelines for a while and carving away . Bein waiting to take pics of my gauva bows before  I started posting , can anyone tell me how to attach them so I can get this party started??
Got bit by the Bowyer  Bug  about 5 months ago and it got me good.  I'm 33 and shot compound since high school. Sold it a month ago and am surronded  with sticks and shavings.  Thought I was board bow bound till I saw manny's world of  guava bows, "I can see the light!!" Made some and ruined some so I got lots of quetions.
Anyways , wanted to introduce myself and start making some bows. I'll try to figure out this picture thing now. Talk  Later . Paka

Tiller at 22 inches , back started to crack so , T.B. III , dacron string , and polyurethane last night.  After lookingat it on camera i may have to shave down the tips.  Time to go hit the garage, talk later .Paka

That bow startd to crack from the back right above the top limbs fade, same as bow that started this thread. Think I should work the tips more. Time to catch some ZZ's

Welcome to the addiction!
I made the same mistake on the first three or four bows I made. I tried to get them bending right out of the fades to soon.
what I do now is to start tillering from the tips about 2/3 out and then work in toward the fades.
Keep it up!
