Odds and ends this weekend.

Got a couple of good ones an a couple of clunkers, even got a blue spruce not to  be confused with a Shannon pine tree ;D Thanks for lookin.  Bob

Hmmmm The blue spruce was the clunker :o . I believe it was a old milk of magnieze bottle, somebody thru it in my bucket when I first started knapping. I finally dug it out but I needed to get the base thinner so my nothches would have been better. Seems like every point that I make no matter what width ends up a 1/4 thick just can,t quite crack the barrier. Anyways it is a real pretty cobalt blue. I don,t like doing glass but every body seems to like the pretty colors. Maybe I should do more of them (not) ;D My favorite part of knapping is taking a big pc an making a nice thin preform. Timo, We got quite a bit of work for a while. I 've been savin that nice pc of Burlington for the right time. Actually I was hop'in to improve my skills an try an make something really nice out of it. Hows everything going with you? I've been watching some of your points on the other site. Later Bob
