just finished my first bow!!! yes its a oak , rawhide backed. 62" ntn 48# @ 29.. put about 50 arrows threw it. I am pleased with it. shoots well. any feed back will be well recieved.. thanks

looks nice Boots! Great tiller for a first, 5th... or even a 10th!!!!! Wish my first turned out that good!

Looks pretty good for your first bow, tiller looks near perfect, well done. If you want some constructive criitcism though it would have taken less set if had been longer, I think oak calls for nearer 68".

As Dragon says, bit longer next time and less bend in the handle will cause less set.
