Thank for all your help with it David, sorry if I wore you out over the weekend!

I'm in the process of building some 600gn arrows, then I'm going for a play wth a friend's chrono. I don't want to make any claim I can't back up with evidence!
Naw I'm still in good shape..lol..

Sweet, I bet you're hooked now.
That first arrow from your first bow...I still get a buzz from that first arrow out of a new bow.
Imagine the buzz that first ever guy got when he first harnessed a string to a stick, I'd love to have seen that moment.
Wonder how long it took him to turn it into a decent bow? Couple of weeks of intense development?
Of course he'd have to go to all those product development meetings and submit a timescale and budget, and once the marketting guys got involved..I mean they wouldn't like the colour ::).

The problem with making such a fine bow on your first attempt is that it will be difficult to raise the bar. Nice candidate for May Laminate Bow of the Month
