glued up my first tri-lam

It's bamboo backed yellowheart (satinwood) with a purple heart core.... wish me luck.  :)

Thanks guys... Mike, I got the wood from a local hardwood supplier.  I got the bamboo backing strip from David at the Classic.  I used my table saw to cut the lams and I even did my first W splice for the satinwood.  The purple heart is 1/8" thick and runs full length.  Ancient Archer I used a two by four  the length of my bow with 4" blocks on the ends and a 2" block in the center. I glued the bow up and I used C clamps a little past midlimb to induce the deflex.  After the glue cures it holds that shape.   :)

Thanks everyone.  I have it just about tillered out... It's a few lbs heavy on the draw weight so I am going to have to narrow it a little to lose some weight...  I am running outta yellow heart to scrape, LOL.  :)

Josh, do ya use a drum sander for the Fades?
Ive been tryin to do everything by hand (no choice)exept for a belt sander, was thinking about getting a drum sander. :)

i used the curve of my benchtop belt sander. Just kind of eyeballed it to that rough shape.  Gonna tweak it some when I carve the pistol grip handle.  I want a drum sander too.   :)
