I've done a few perry reflex bows...but not one was all-wood. I have a nice grain oak 1X2 that I'm going to split into two 36" lengths and then into five 1/8 x 2 veneers. I'm then going to glue them at about a 10* angle to the handle. About 1/3 of the way out the form will put the limbs on the same plane again, then the last third of the limbs will be flipped up into a mild recurve.
Working with glass I had no issues...there was less oak and it moved freely with the glass, and everything was much wider so when it came to tillering all I needed to do was narrow the limb a bit. I'm not quite sure how to approach tillering when I'm looking at 3 to 5 laminations...would it be the same as if I were using a solid stave?
