Collaboration knife
« on: May 03, 2010, 09:24:16 pm »
The blade is basidian, the hilt is axis antler, some bolivian rosewood accents, cholla handle and a curly oak pommel. The blade is attached with clear 2 ton epoxy. It's not exactly primitive but I think it came out pretty good.

I call this a collaboration knife because I got the cholla for the handle from El D and the blade came from a trade with Sailordad. Thanks for the trades guys.

The evenness of the blade is outstanding, as well is the whole knife.

Thanks for the comments, everyone. I really enjoyed putting this one together. Tim (sailordad) did a real fine job on the blade

I got some stone this past weekend at the Oregon Ridge Primitive Tech weekend/knap-in so I'm going to try to make the next blade myself.

I can't find a thing I don't love about this Knife....besides the fact that it aint Mine...... >:D....

Mike - you never know, this could be my next KITH knife.  ;)

Thanks Mike!  you are the best!  ...sorry for the hijack, JT.   O:)

Josh, no problem. I've done it myself before.  8) Have fun with the cholla.
