Ditto Everyone Elses' Praise. Quite the workmanship in that handle braiding. This is a serious contender for April Laminate Bow of the Month.

That is beautiful; bow as well as arrows!
REALLY like the shape of the bow, but also all the details!
Handle looks especially great; how about a build-along next time???

Thanks everyone for all the nice comments.  It's definately a real shooter. I've been lookin at it for a long time and am glad it's finally off the to do rack!  :)
The grips not to hard to do. The leather I believe is a thinner stone tanned cowhide (it has an antique worn look to it, but smooth), all I did was soak it in warm water, shaped and wrapped it around the handle tightly then wrapped that with my bowstringer and let it dry. The bonus was it left the cord imprint in the leather.
So do you want a build along on the grip or the whole bow?   Scott

Well since you ask... ;D

Both would be excellent but the braiding on the grip is a must-see!!!

Love Sawfiler's arrows too!  Just awesome.

Now your embarassing me stickhead.
I was amazed with the points SawFiler made when I got them and everyone who see's them thinks they were made by a machine, everyone one of them is just perfectly indentical. He just did a super job on them. Hopefully some nice bull elk will get to see one of those up close this year.   Scott

Damn! You know how you are walking down the sidewalk and some pretty young thang walks by with curves that just stops you in your tracks.... well, I just got stopped dead in my tracks. If my wife had been with me, I'd have gotten slapped. That is one eye popping beauty!!! And those arrows could stand on their own!!! Like I said... Damn!!!

That set would look perfect on the cover of a magazine!
Absolutely awesome job Scott!   Those skins turned out great too.
Be thankfull for all you have, because no matter how bad you think it is...it can always be worse.

You did that all, with one eye? Well, I just gotta say; amen brother, because that bow and set of arrows is so beautiful that it's a religious experience.
