What's for Supper this Sunday

Whole chicken slow-roasted on the grill with a can of beer up it's hindermost orifice, rubbed with butter and spice mix and basted with butter, garlic and lime juice; grilled asparagus, homemade potato wedges, and some toasted honey wheat bread with butter. It ate pretty good. ;D

Ooooh, I knew you'd come up with something spicy ;D. I figured out why they called it a drunk chicken the one time I tried it cause I was three sheets to the wind by the time it got done - think we may have had the fire turned down a little too low ::). Good looking vittles! Lets try it in a coupla weeks...

Paul, you have to be sure to keep yourself marinated with beer for the whole time the chicken's cooking so that you can be one with the chicken and sense when it's done. ;D

Eddie, that sounds good. I made some shrimp scampi with bacon-and-onion taters last night.

Heheheh, I've been one with something here for awhile now but it wasnt' chicken :D. That is making me hungry though, may have a slice of this hotel pizza.

Ron, they're just starting to come up. That's hopefully a near-future "what's for supper" thread- trout, ramps, morel mushrooms, and skillet cornbread. ;D ;D

Cause I had taters with bacon and onions Saturday night. Tina cooked these tater wedges while I did the chicken and 'sparagus. They were gooooood. :)
