I like to open them up with some scrapes around the edges and down the middle , it really make them dry out and get tight, got one scrapped Thursday and a good start on the second, should have finished up the second Thursday because Friday turned it to a cloudy damp day. :) But got side tracked with tip over lays and some floor tillering On Margaret Ann's bow. ;) :)

Got the over lays on and then some fellowship around the fire with Back strap and deer brats, lots of fun with good friends. :)

One of my buddies killed a big doe and gave it to me so got right on it, :) got it all boned out and in the cooler, will process it after Christmas. Then finished up my second hide it turned into a chore because of the weather but got it done.  :) Annie is turning into a really good dog, I think I might just keep her around. :) ;) ;) Hope yall had a good one also and hope everyone has a Blessed Christmas and great up coming 2025, Remember the reason for the season. :) Life is Good. ;)
