Great weekend ,well all except one part,can you say [Persimmon] Other than that we had a good meeting,good turn out for the working and are all but ready for the up coming event this Saturday,kitchen almost ready and ranges are set,registration is up and running also,thanks guy it was a good day. We had a little time in the shop at night ,I got the Persimmon ready and shooting,just didn't last to long,also got a knife glued up and some more Hickory ready to make staves for the Classic. Lot of folks around and lot of things going on,here are some pictures of the fun. Dan with a new set of arrows and working on his knife,Some more of Jon's work,man he is turning out the knives. Michael with a Walnut bow he made for his daughter,turned out very nice.

Little bit of napping, Scott taking a break after some more wood cutting,they cut /split and hauled 4 more loads of fine Hickory this weekend. We have a good pile now ready for the Classic. Plan B for me on my trade bow[Osage is King]

Plan B off the form and looking pretty good so far. My next knife,blade ready for some spaled Hickory scales. Getting ready for the meeting and working Saturday morning. We are blessed at TwinOaks to have a great bunch of guys that are interested in getting things done.

Me drilling some holes in my knife scales after they were glued up. BigA working on and Osage bow. King Ron just kicked back and taking it all in.We split up enough Hickory for about 30 staves for the Classic we are hoping.

Some of the days projects. A friend showed up from KY.[sorry yall know how I am with names]    and wanted a little help on an Osage he was working on ,so we gave him a hand and I think he went away very happy.

First shots from His new Osage,turned out very nice. Some picking and Clear cut Chuck just keeping the fire going and listening to the music. My knife Glued/drilled/pined and sanded,ready for some finish. It was a good time for all I think.Can't wait till next week. Hope yall's was as good. Life is Good.
