More getting ready,the staves and Several jumped in to make more tiller sticks,we will need them for the Classic anyway.

I had some time Friday for a little hide work,got 2 more in the freezer that has to be gone before our first shoot in middle of March. Jon working on some tiller sticks and Gary putting some arrows together.

Gary finishing up an arrow,hard wood point.Pretty cool.GregB and Linda doing some bow work. A little picking Friday night and then the Scouts show up.

Nice bunch of kids,very well mannered.

Jon laying out the days agenda and Gary doing the arrow demo and some history about how the arrow has evolved. Then getting started,we let them line up and pick a stave by number,then checked each for draw length and strength. Then each took 3 boy to a work area.

Busy keeping up with 3 at a time .

Some good shooting and some bad.

Sweet pee shows up for support and to make them young men loose concentration on bow building. Several showed up that didn't think they were good enough to help with the bows so they went and cut wood getting ready for the up coming events,great bunch we have. Will's boo bow on the tiller tree after we were through with the scouts.

Thanks Tracy. GregB's twins ready for tillering,Chucks Trade bow in the works and Josh working on a nasty yew stave. Like I said we had a little time for ourselves
when the day was done.

The Scouts retired to their camp in the front yard and had a nice supper and fire,we also retired to our fire and some relaxing and picking.

Great time I think had by all.

Thats it for this week,can't wait to do it again.

Thanks guys,it was fun ,ya some of the guys have some really nice stuff in the works right now. Chuck has a couple of them going and Greg I think has 3 bows in the works and who knows about Will,their ant no telling.

$:-\$ I think Big A has something going on also but I haven't seen it yet.

I have 3 or 4 I am piddling with myself depending on how the mood hits.
