Nice looking deer, Debbie. Pappy beat me to it, I've seen the deer Dave shoots, also. Is that beach sand  you are sitting in?

Bummer Jon,  I was going to tell you that those skins would help pick up the weight loss from sanding. Don't give up on the Yew, I feel the same way everyrime I work Osage. Just getting used to the difference I guess. Got any pictures?

With "Buddies" like you guys I don't need any enemies. ;)  No Eddie that ain't sand. ;)  She wasn't going to hunt any more after Saturday evening cause she got
cold and the snow was so deep where we were hunting. I kinda shamed her into going Tuesday. After she shot the deer I ask her if she was glad she came and
she said before the two came by she was wishing she was home.  We're going again tomorrow evening for her last hunt. I'm taking my son-in-law Sunday evening
to try to get his first also.

Pappy:  Thanks for sharing the weekend pictures.  Always so much going on at the farm!  I have two elk hides in the salt and would send them if you would like?  Have been wondering if Will could use a tooled leather strap for his gittar?  If so would need some measurements and what the strap buttons look like?  Sure wish you guys would start using the grinder and paper wheels to sharpen up all those knives you make!  I use mine all the time and it only takes a couple of minutes.  Just have to set it up so the wheels turn from the bottom up as they are facing you.  With the shields removed you can hold the blade over the top away from you and its safe!  Sure miss all the friends at the farm!  A/Ho Joe
