Friday again,I will be back at the cabin by 2 and in the woods by 3 if things go well,It's
hunting season now but life goes on there about the same,bows and arrows at night
and middle of the day and some good cooking going on.Got some fresh tenderloin ready
and waiting so it should be fun.Hope to skin some more deer also.We will see.Pictures
Monday. :) I still need to put a grip and make a string on the bow I have been working on so hope to get that done if the deer don't get in the way. ;D ;) Good luck to all and hope yall have a
good weekend. :)

Pappy, I would send you luck for your weekend hunt but I think I'll keep it for myself. ::) At this point, I need it more that you! ;) I'll be heading out is an hour or so for my club in GA. At least we will have somewhat decent, cooler weather even though the moon will be bright all night.
  I do wish you and the gand good hunting this weekend. Hopefully I will have pics for Monday, also.     Pat

Had a great weekend,but I left in such a hurry this morning I forgot my camera,so Pictures
and story of the weekend in the morning.Very good time and a nice deer taken[not by me]
but by a fellow self bow hunter.Sorry. ;)

hey pappy next time you guys are butchering you should document it and post it on the how-to forum. i bet a lot of folks would love to see it step by step. i was planning on doing it if i ever get some time back out in the woods. but the way you guys are dragging in deer you may be better off doing it. peace

Pappy, there always is a next one.   ;D  I am having so much fun watching the deer out back. Last night, 6:35, there were 5 of them close to the house. Two skippers and three nice Does. I check them from different areas of the property so they don,t pattern me. My wife saw them for the first time this year. Said, "Well lets go get one." OK, OK lets do it.

Well I remembered my camera today ,so here we go.Had a good weekend even tho it was hot.Got my Osage bow finished ,grip on string made and the tiller the best I thought I could do and keep weight.No deer at the cabin this week but one was missed by Mike a buddy of mine. Keith took a good buck Sat. morning on his farm across the river and Tristan a you lad in the club took his first with a bow. We eat good and had plenty of Bull around the fire so Life is still good

Them was Supper Friday night and the grip on the Osage I have been working.These are Friday night after the hunt,Tristan's first buck,Keith's buck and me with my Osage. :)
