Then to top off the weekend ,when I got home I had a package,it was a arrow
signed by Glenn St Charles signed in June 08 at the age of 96.And also a Boo backed
Osage,It came from a friend,I call Ky.Dave.I had given him some IW. that was to twisted
for us to use at the Classic and also gave him one of Hanna's pups,he calls him Hose. :)
So he sent me the bow for thanks,I didn't want anything or deserve it but he wanted to do it and I will cherish it and try and take a deer or 2  with it.Never shot a Boo backed bow but I will
make an exception in this case. Great weekend.Life is good. ;) :) :)

Nice little bow for the little girl - sure she had a lot more fun than standing in a tree for hours anyway :). Those are some nice gifts - you clean up pretty good Pappy ;D.

Everytime I see pictures Pappy in his work clothes or "Sunday Go to Meeting Clothes" I have to do a double take.  Sure makes a fine lookin' American.  The weather in NY was very rainy and windy over the weekend.  Better for ducks than deer.  Deer movement was supressed considerably.  First part of the week calls for storms, but the end of the week is looking prime.

We have a truck load of Yankees planning on LBL.  We could have as few as 5 but as many as 9.  This is going to be our year!

I got my first selfbow kill Saturday here in Indiana. I won this bow at Cloverdale in 04 and after seeing the boys at Twin Oaks make and take deer with their bows I figured I ought to give it a try.  It worked! Hope these pictures come out.

Congratulations David! Glad you got one with your selfbow...the equipment is definitely capable of anyone that might not have the confidence using a selfbow. You just have to limit yourself a little more on distance typically.

Great pictures, thanks for sharing!

Congrat's David! A nice tender harvest there, and that is one wild looking bow..

Man, I missed a big weekend.  I'm bummed.  I spent all week hunting so I spent the weekend with the family.  Getting colder this week.  I saw 4 this morning but didn't get a shot.

Congrats on a fine doe with a beautiful bow.
