The rawhide all trimmed and ready to start tillering. Started on my old pot Chris gifted me, it was in bad shape but with a little TLC it will be nice. Helped Shawn a bit rack another hide, he don't need much help, he's a fast learner, and of course shot the bull a lot with my buddies.  ;) :)

The girls just laid back out of the rain watching the show. :) The pot is looking good, about 1 more session and it should be ready to use. While we were loading Shan's deer last week I mentioned to him glad their is 2 of us because over the last few years I struggle to load one by myself, just getting old and weak I guess :-\ anyway when I get home after they leave this showed up fed X. Thanks Shane, much appreciated !!! I put it together Saturday evening and think it will make my life much easier, it goes in the trailer hitch on my Kubota. Very cool, guess it is good to have friends looking after you. :) That's it for now, hope yall had a good one also. Life is Good. :) :)

I have been using one of those deer hoists for the 15 years, I have an F250 and had to raise every deer I shot completely off the ground to get in the truck bed because it was so high, I strained my back every time.

I bought one of those hoists from the Sportman's Guide for $89.95, it was the best money I ever spent. I keep it in my truck during all of deer season, especially during the rut. When I see a deer get hit or know for sure one on the side of the road is a fresh kill because it wasn't there when I went by an hour ago, I back up to it, load it on my truck with the hoist and take it home with me. I hate to see good deer meat go to waste, I have picked up 3 road kills with my hoist so far.

Ya Eric I got it all finished up today and can’t wait to try it out, just need to kill a deer now.😊 Bob I have done the last few this way, just like I do snake skins, takes a little patience but comes out much better for me with no air bubbles or lines where the wrap goes. Pappy
