Yep something about grand kids that always make me smile, mine or someone else's . I guess they will grow out of it, but right now they think PapPap hung the moon and can do anything, if something breaks or stops working around the house or farm and they are there the first thing out of Margaret Ann's mouth is " PapPap can fix it " got to love that. ;) :)

I have a favorite granddaughter to Pappy.

She is my only granddaughter so far and her other grandpa’s only granddaughter too.

She turned 16 and got her drivers license already. Wow how time flies.

She still makes me smile.

I’m thinking yours will be making you smile for a long time yet too. I sure hope so anyhow.

Ya Eddie takes after her Pap Pap.  ;) :) :) :) Great weekend at the cabin, cold and ice the first day and then warm and sun, go figure it's Feb. in Tennessee. :) Got a couple of flutes in the works for You guessed it the grand Kids. Also was digging through some draws and found a bunch of old files I had forgot about, looks like more knives in my future. :)

Got the files softened, I let them cool slow in a hot plate filled with sand, I warm it to 200 and then turn it off, after I take the files out of the forge I put them in the warm sand to cool slow, will soften them where they work easy every time. It was cold and ice on all the trees and Joe showed up, we decided to go out and shoot the practice range, it was cold but beautiful out in the woods and we both shot pretty well also.  :)

The last shot is a 120 yard white goat, don't hit it often but fun to fling and arrow at. Decided to finely finish my yew RD bow and also laid out another knife blade. Put the Finish on Bodhi's bow and flute, now he should be happy. :)

Really like the Yew Bow, makes a beautiful Bow. Too bad it's not a durable as Yellow Wood! Thanks as always Pappy  (=) - Bob/
