Life is good. I’m sure glad you and Beau had such a great hunting trip. I think some of the nicest pictures were the ones back home though.

I hear ya PAT, I was playing with Margaret Ann the other day and told her I was tired and getting old, she said " PapPap you just have to pretend you are young "  :) Good advice !!! Had a good weekend, got some stuff done around the shop/all my stuff ready for next week's opening deer season and fun hanging out with the bunch that showed up for the Nap in, had about 40 nappers/6 or 7 vendors and several that showed up just to look around and shop. Here are a few pictures of the fun. Got Beau's head boiling and his Ivories out and polished, had to use the big pot and the cooker Cracker gifted us several years back, worked out great.  :)

Got the head clean and drying, then folks started showing up Friday morning for the Nap in, always good to see James, he is full of it for sure. ;) :)

They set up mostly in the front yard of the cabin,James cooking some rock the old school way. Got the Elk mounted on an old board from our barn.Turned out nice. :)

Then some more birthday gifts, some fishing lures , hand made and a possible's bag for my flint lock from Chris [sticks and strings] thanks guys love them. :) It was a good time for sure and great birthday, got home Sunday and after Church the family took me out for a big steak, not sure it was better than Elk steak  :-\ but was very good all the same and spending time with Miss Joanie and the kids is always a Blessing. Hope yall had a good one also. Life is Good.  ;) :)
