Looks like a great time, Pappy.   First glance at that picture with the deer target and the bouncy house, I thought those two diagonal lines (guy wire attachments, I'm guessing?) were arrows flying toward the target, and I thought, "Man, what an amazing picture!"  ha ha

No that target staves there all the time, I set it out years ago to take a practice shot from the porch before I head out to hunt but blue birds built a nest in its neck so I just leave it there all the time now, been there for years now.i put a sigh around its next when I have an event to keep people from shooting it.😯 Pappy

Great few days at the cabin, got some hunting in and also some shop work, been working on knives a lot lately so stayed busy with that among  a few other things. Few pictures. My girls loving it, they know I am there for a while when I get the fire going. Working on a stand for my latest knife, deer antler and deer toe knuckle bone, I like to use different stuff for the stop, get lot of questions about what it is and fun having people guess. ;) :) :)

Bill showed up to melt some wheel weights, a friend in the tire business gave me a bunch so Bill worked them up, he make a lot of modern bullets and said they work great for that. Also finished my holey hide, it had a big spot in the middle of the back that just would not take brains, it stayed like wet rawhide, ??? :-\  Had another one or two do that before but this is the first in a long time, hate when that happens.  >:( I took the un tanned part out and finished the rest out, it will make some good project hide, the rest of it turned out great, good and soft . Sally like it for her new brain tanned coat and the hole worked out prefect.  ;) :) :)

Knife stand finished and a little hide work, The streaks I put in the hair side really let it dry quicker when the weather in kind of damp. Then back to the woods Tuesday morning, took a 7 point, now I am bucked out but still plenty to hunt, the limit on doe in great in Tennessee.  :)

This in out TwinOaks Grand slam board, you have to kill a doe spike/3/4/5/6/7 and 8 plus to when, I have won it twice and now down to a 5 and 6 point but that will have to wait till next year  ;) :) Brain tanned sheath all roughted in and putting a handle on a blade a friend gave me, deer leg bone, I got plenty of them. ;) :) :)
