Got started on the Hickory staves last night getting them into shape and ready for the form.1 down 40 to go.

The cambium layer dried really funny on this Hickory[ guess we didn't get it all off when we cut it ]
![Huh ???](http://www.primitivearcher.com/smf/Smileys/default/huh.gif)
so each of the backs need to be scrapped and sanded before the bow is laid and cut out.

Going to take some time but are beautiful staves once cleaned up.

it is a lot more work but has to be done
to insure a good stave. It looks pretty cool but will eventually crack and could ruin the stave in the process, not worth the chance.
