Good luck Pappy! Congrats _Jon_! Looks like things are pretty normal around there to me :). I'm wondering why Woody doesn't have a quart jar in his hand? Also wondering how many more years those Molson chairs have left in em, ha...

My Friday too!  I am heading back out this afternoon with a bow.  Our regular gun season ended yesterday. Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

Will be nice to have a day off tomorrow! Gayle and I are working 6 days a week right now.  :'(

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!

Flip side of the coin is the old Chinese curse, "May you live in interesting times."

I drove up Hiway 44 west of town today to see an old friend that was recovering from surgery.  On the way I saw 30-some bighorn sheep.  Couple of the big old herd Grandfathers were beside the road licking salt, giving me quite an eyefull.  I came around a bend and started to climb up out of Dark Canyon when I saw another in the ditch.  As I got close I slowed down to get a better look.  The "ram" lifted his head to see who was slowing down and it was a muley buck with a body like a bighorn ram!!!

I pert' near put the jeep in the ditch trying to catch my breath!  He was literally a brick s----house on legs.  When I drove down off the hill, he was up the road further and in the other ditch.  When I got home I pulled all my maps out and started praying to find a scootch of public land in amongst the developments there but was sadly disappointed.  Only way to get him is to "chrome grill him" Mullet style and call a gamewarden for a candystripe tag.  *sob*

So I saw a buck I have no chance of hunting.  Just knowing he is out there breeding means life is goooood!
