re introduction
« on: January 31, 2010, 08:41:52 am »
just intoducing myself. ive been a mamber here before but its been a few yrs since ive been here.i have also tried to build bows in the past and failed miserably,  but i think im starting to get the hang of it.mr pat b has been a big help in this and has explaind alot to me at last yrs hickory state tournement.mr pat gave me a stave to finish it just needed final tiller , a finish, and a handle wrap.since then i have had help from another friendin learning how to make arrows, but im not sure if he is a member of this site.i  have shot glass bows in the past but i love primitive archery so much better. here are some pics of the bow from mr pat and the arrows i made this fall. enjoyucket.com/albums/tt101/broketooth/ruddyscoolstuff004.jpg[/IMG]006.jpg[/IMG]cs003-1.jpg[/IMG]ebowpics002.jpg[/IMG]

Welcome back, and the bow and arrows look great, you did an excellent job. I remember meeting you at Hickory last year.
