I have tons of obsidian. I have banded, purple sheen, smoked, and some that resembles dacite. I just don't have much mahogany. When the snow melts on the pit I will go find it.  I don't know how he would fit 40# in a box. I have shoved more obsidian into a flat rate box than will really fit. I never got over 30#.

Thanks guys, I'm glad you like it. Now if I could really learn how to knapp. I am just a slab knapper. 
Eddie, I wish I had as much of this obsidian as I do the other colors. Unfortunately I don't find much of the mahogany stuff. I was told where there was a whole bunch, but haven't been able to find it yet.

is that termite tunnle scars on the face of the little stand thing? looks cool. not to mention the blade, that thing is sweet. great work.
