Christmas gift from Kegan..
« on: December 26, 2009, 11:02:39 pm »
Thought you bowyers would like to see this one.. I think it pulls about eighty pounds..at 28.. kegan is a real animal and said the bow pulls 62 at 28. I think he said that to make me feel old ;D ;) one of the smoothest shooting bows I have shot, no handshock and takes virtually no set.. love how she shoots.. this is the second bow kegan has built for me and I am a huge fan of his work, had it less than an hour and made some meat with her.. hope you all like it... it is white oak I believe and very cool heavy snakey limbs..  Hawk

You are right Mike, that Kegan really feels his oats with those heavy bows. Nice looking bow. Your wife knows how to take a good picture too.

Cool bow Mike. I'm glad to see you have a real "Kegan bow" and not one of the new and improved models!  ;D   Great work Kegan.  8)  I'm always impressed with Stacey's photos 8) 8) 8)

Great looking bow!

I just finished and shipped off a hickory backed jatoba to Kegan for a bow swap on Archerytalk.  I managed 70# out of her but it was interesting...  For a skinny kid he can sure pull a bow!   ;)

I'm so unbeleivably happy to see it put to use like that ;D! I really didn't mean to mismark the weight. I think the Bow Gods just wanted to make a liar of me sometimes! You must have the toughest shooting fingers on the planet- those little FF strings cut through my tab on much lighter bows in the cold, making my fingers feel like they're gonna fall off!

I'm just so glad you like it ;D ;D ;D!
